I was civilly discussing a topic about the recent natural disaster in Japan. While I was not in sync with everyone else in the thread, I was not resorting to forum trolling for any of my replies. And yet, every response of mine was deleted, and I am not allowed to repost anything at all. Im sorry, but this is poor taste, that I can not speak my opinion without fear of what Im saying from being deleted when I am making a clear argument on my self beliefs.

That they can just keep all the "get well soons", and delete anything that isnt of faked "good will", is sickening. 90% of the people will forget about Japan or the surrounding nations in the next week other than thats where there next piece of tech will come from.

Howdy guys! first I was like, no Im not buying this, I was bummed out by the fact we were only getting the Terran Campaign first, which, like Ive talked to some of you about, is a pretty big deal for me. I play a game first and foremost for the story line of it. Gameplay is a big factor too, but if the story is terrible, I have trouble coming back to it once I stop playing the first or second time. So that is my first question, how is the story of this installement? Ive read from a couple people on the WoW forums that it was pretty good, but I have no way of telling if those are diehard SC fanboys who were going to love it no matter what. I played the first SC, liked it alot, play BW, my ass handed to me in the first mission, dont think I went back again after that >.<.

Secondly, I know a HUGE part of the replay value (Obviously another big criteria of mine) is in the VS mode. Now, I never was any good in the first one when I went online. Im the kind of guy who sat there and liked to build up my base a lil bit, only get to rushed five minutes into the fight and get owned, and of course, this is what happened everytime in the SC2 Beta also. My question, how is the matchmaking in the game? Is it random, where I could get the occasional person who is a newb, but most of the time, I sit there getting zerg rushed everytime, or does it go by skill, where I play people I might actually stand a chance against until I possibly get better on all my microing and all that jazz?

I was set that I wasnt going to be purchasing this until they bundled the three campaigns together, but watching the recent trailers, and hearing so much about it, has got me kind of pondering it now. Really, the only part holding me back, is, I feel, once Im done with the campaign, thats it, and the idea of having to shell out another 60 when the Zerg or Protoss one comes out, dosent make me too happy.

So, from the perspective of someone who love the story of a game, but is quite the noob at matchmaking, is this worth the purchase?

You Mad Bro? / I hate Military/Security Police.

So tonight I needed to take a walk to my shopette on base (where I work mind you) to pick up some toilet paper because my parents house hold was out. Not far after I get out of my Cul De sac(SP?) a Security Forces' cop car stops me. Im like, whatever, he asks me for my ID, I show him, he shines his bright ass light (anyone whos been pulled over before knows what Im talking about) in my face forever, like hes trying to blind me, like hes checking to make sure im not a terrorist or something. Whatever, I showed him TWO forms of ID, my state ID, and my expired military dependant ID. After he looked at me questingly, like Im the one person in the world whos stupid enough to have a fake federaly issued fake ID, and a State ID with the same exact ID, I just happen to wearing my letterman jacket, which would verify, my name, and at least the year I was born. He tells me to go home, I have no buisness being out at 3 in the morning, this is after I told him I was getting toilet paper at the shoppette, where he could easily verify that I worked there.

This is a case of another bored SP. If Im doing something wrong. I know better. I will stay in the officer housing. Wehn I was younger, me and my friends knew that. If we were stupid enough to smome pot on base, we walked through Officer housing to do it, no cops patrolled throught there, the SPs were too scared of stopping an officer child for nothing and getting their ass reamed the next day because they stopped the wrong person.

My point is, I was walking, on the sidewalk, through a foot of snow (because people didnt want to shovel their sidewalks WHICH THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO TICKET FOR THAT ON BASE CONSIDERING IT SNOWED 24 HRS AGO), not going in the street because I just saw the cop pass by, didnt want to give him a reason to stop me, he turned around, and decided to question me because he was bored in the middle of the night. Even though Im not an officer's child. I gurantee he'll get a talking to from his commander his next duty, that was BS, he had no reason to stop me.

eDIT: To clarify, which he stated himself, the only reason he stopped me, was that I was walking at 3 in the morning. That was it. I wasnt doing anyhting suspicious, just that I was out in the morning. Now I have to hope no one needs use the restroom before I get a chance to get up to the store during the day.

General Discussion / Official WoW forums Virus in Ads warning.
« on: September 19, 2009, 02:59:12 PM »
Evidently whatever 3rd party ad service Blizzard uses for their WoW forums has been circulating forum banners with viruses.

Without even clicking on said ads, it will open a new window with an attempt to show that its scanning your hard drive and has found multiple viruses. Obviously you shouldnt click this and download anything it is.

Its apparently been going on for nearly half a week, and Im making this post here to let you all now since apprently Blizz hasnt disabled adds at all, or whoever they are going through, since I just now got the popup for it myself. Pretty dissapointing imo since Ive seen threads in the general forums there for the past few days stating this, and yet they let it continue. Im sure they are working on it, but imo its another one of those "We wont say anything about it, nor disable the ads, well just act like it isnt happening"
